What is
Aluminum Alloy Casting?
This casting method (gravity die casting) involves filling the die cavity (the open space that will form the product) with the molten metal using the force of gravity. It is a more productive method than sand mold casting because the molding step is skipped. Densification of the morphology improves mechanical properties, and it can handle complicated shapes like those using shell cores. This method is superior in that compared to regular casting, products can be manufactured with better dimensional accuracy. |
